GIBSLAND, LA- Services for Margaret Sutton, 85, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2007 in the chapel at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Lamar Skinner. Interment will follow at Campground Cemetery near Bienville, LA.
Margaret Sutton died July 5, 2007, after a lengthy illness. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gibsland, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, George Cecil Sutton, Jr., granddaughter Ricki Sutton, parents Hayden and Gladys Whitley Stewart, and brother Malcolm Stewart. Survivors include her son Jerry Sutton and wife Betty of Gibsland, LA, granddaughter Donna Sutton and husband Steve Creech of Minden, LA, three sisters; Emily Suman, Verne Lundy, and Linnie Ferguson, two brothers; Wayne Stewart, and Stanley Stewart.
