Mrs. Isabella Creek Reynolds, 70, widow of G.S. Reynolds, succumbed at 10:45 o'clock Thursday night at her home in Stewartsville. She had been in failing health for several years and early Saturday morning suffered a stroke of apoplexy from which she never rallied. She had had two light strokes. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church in Stewartsville with the Rev. R.J. Skelton, of Potoka, in charge. Burial was in the Stewartsville cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Merle McFadden, of Cleveland, Ohio, two sons, Samuel O. Reynolds and Arthur Reynolds, of near Stewartsville; eleven grandchildren, three step-sons, Marion and Frank Reynolds, Robb township and Miller Reynolds, of Mt. Vernon; a sister, Mrs. Jane Bullard, Robb township; a brother, Silas Creek, also of Robb township. Mrs. Creek was a native of Robb township, the daughter of Andrew and Mary Royal Creek. She had lived for the past eighteen years in Stewartsville, moving there from her former home north of town. She was a member of the Black River Baptist church. She was held in high esteem in the two communities where she spent practically all of her life.
