PRIVATE SERVICE PLANNED FOR MRS. L. F. ALLEN
A private funeral service and burial are planned for Mrs. Hazel Hulburd Allen, 64, of 44 S. Main St., Pittsford. She died yesterday (Aug. 4, 1958) after several months' illness.
The wife of Dr. Lloyd F. Allen, she was active for several years in the Rochester Chapter, American Red Cross, the Pittsford Presbyterian Church and a weaving guild in Pittsford. She also was one of the developers of the Pittsford Community Library.
Mrs. Allen was a native of Rochester and a graduate of the University of Illinois.
In addition to her husband, She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert Keen of Peoria, Ill., and Mrs. William Crichton of San Antonio, Tex.; her mother, Elizabeth Hulburd of Shaker Heights, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. J. A. S. Brown Jr. of Shaker Heights and Mrs. Raymond Waln of Alexandria, Va., and two grandchildren. Friends may contribute to the American Cancer Society.
