Clay Hall, 86, of Maryville died at his home. He was a member and deacon of Old Piney Baptist Church, was retired from ALCOA and was a member of The 25 - Year Service Club. He was a former Blount County deputy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Braden Hall, and two sons, J.T. and R.L. Hall. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and Gene Webb and Loretta and Jerry Wade, all of Maryville; sons and daughters-in-law, Avery Eugene and Babbs Hall of Sommerville, S.C., Charles and Pat Hall, Bobby and Pat Hall, Don and Brenda Hall, Johnny and Shirley Hall, and Ronnie and Shirley Hall, all of Maryville; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Ines (Mrs. Kenneth) Sullivan, Pat (Mrs. James) Brinkley, both of Maryville; brothers, Johnnie Hall and Eliga Hall, both of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 8 p.m. today at McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Sullivan and the Rev. Clifford Debety officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Old Piney Cemetery.
