Mrs. June Brower, 78, died at 1:00 a.m. Wednesday morning at Home Hospital, Lafayette, where she had been a patient for one hour. She lived with her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Lois) McKenzie in Lafayette. She had been in ailing health for five years. Born at Flora on Feb. 13, 1890, she was the daughter of James M. and Margaret Jordan Wheeler. On Sept. 18, 1908 she was married to Roy Brower, who died in 1957. A graduate of Flora High School, Mrs. Brower was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Congress Street Methodist Church of Lafayette. Surviving with the daughter are two brothers, J. Floyd Wheeler of Flora and Fred Wheeler of Delphi; a sister, Mrs. Osta Trent of Lafayette; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Final rites will be held at the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Friday with Rev. O. L. Collier of Lafayette officiating and burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery.
