Ollie Mae DeLaFosse born August 24, 1912 in Trinity County, Texas to Arrittia (Clark) and John A. Baker and passed away on November 22, 2007 at the age of 95. She loved and was dearly loved by her family, who affectionately knew her as "Memaw." She never had much of this world's goods, but she was richly blessed and her family never lacked for the necessities of life. She was employed by Beall's Department Store for 20 plus years.

She was preceded in death by her husband E. Arvel DeLaFosse and her son, Ernest Earl (Bo) DeLaFosse, eleven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Geneva Darlene and Alfred N. Jarvis of Lufkin; grandchildren, Andy and Lea Jarvis of Hudson, Jill (Jarvis) and Scott Attebery of El Dorado, Arkansas, Robyn (DeLaFosse) Thompson of Lufkin; great grandchildren, Aaron Jarvis, Adam Jarvis, Hannah Thompson and Sarah Thompson; one sister, Suzie Vera DeLaFosse of Hudson and her sons, Charles and Phil DeLaFosse, and their families, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
