Mrs. Rena Cohran Hulsey, 88, 572 Lane St., Rockmart, died Sept. 30 in HCA Parkway Medical Center.
Daughter of the late Mittie Wheeler and William Cohran, she was born Aug. 27, 1904 in Paulding County and was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethany Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. (Bill) Hulsey to whom she was married about 41 years; a son, Hubert Hulsey and daughter, Mrs. Thelma Cochran.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Roma Lee Reece, Douglasville, GA; Mrs Clara Jones, Dallas, Mrs. Elise Baggett; three sons, Paul Hulsey, Rockmart; William Junior Hulsey, Rockmart and James Hulsey, Aragon; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1 in Benson's Magnolia Hill Chapel with Rev. Danny Rice officiating. Interment was in Bethany Christian Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Joe Jones, Hal Ingram, Tony Dawson, Mike Reece, Joey Ingram and James Brock.
Benson Funeral Home, Dallas, had charge of arrangements.
