Mrs. Sarah A. Hughes, 72 years old, who formerly resided at Kingman, Kas., for many years, died at her home, 1453 North Hydraulic Avenue, Monday. She came to Wichita 13 years ago. Ms. Hughes is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Ina Stanton, Colorado Springs, Colo,, Mrs. Agnes Blake, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Nina Chandler, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Effie Armstrong, 3210 East Twenty-first street, and Miss Ida at home; two sons, Guy, 1510 Pennsylvania Avenue, and Robert, Colorado Springs; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Krehbiel, Newton; Mrs. Lucy Hurst and Mrs. Roda Peters , both of Partridge, Kas., and Mrs. Ida Thomas, Pocatello, Idaho, and two brothers, Albert and Max Walter, both of Partridge. Downing Mortuary is in charge.
