David Morrow, age 77 years, died at his home at Pine Grove Sunday last and was buried at the Pine Grove burying ground Monday afternoon, services being conducted by Rev. Elias Haden. Mr. Morrow has resided in Lamar county for the past 35 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian church. As a citizen he has been held in high esteem. At one time he was a member of the Pension Board and was himself a Confederate veteran. He is survived by his widow, two sons, I. F. and D. C. both the residents of Pine Grove community and by two daughters, Mrs. Maggie Heflin of Gum Pond and Mrs. Dan Davis of Pine Grove.
