Son of James Martin Sloan and Candace Faye (George) Sloan.
Obituary:
C. H. Sloan, 76, of Ola died Friday, January 14 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was owner of Sloan's Clothing Store and was a member of First Baptist Church of Ola.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie Sloan; two daughters, Mrs. Jearldine Tedford of Dardanelle and Mrs. Joyce Noakes of Corpus Christi, Texas; three step-daughters, Mrs. Mary Goeven and Mrs. Betsy Rice of Pasadena, Texas and Mrs. Carol Sebesta of Ocala, Florida; a brother, Roscoe Sloan of Ola; a half-brother, Gene Partin of Ola; a half-sister, Mrs. Birt Dacus of Magazine; 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.

Funeral was Monday at First Baptist Church at Ola by the Rev. Hoda Ward. Burial was in Ola (Sandlin) Cemetery.
