My precious Mama, passed away on Dec.8. 1998, I wish I had been able to be there with her, but I was out with medical problems, and surgery, and could not be there with her, but I know God was holding her hand for me, I dearly miss and love her, and want to say, Happy Birthday Mama, and Happy Anniversary, and I will see you on the other side. Love Fern

Macle Dollie Nichols, wife of the late Charles Wesley Nichols Sr., entered eternal paradise on Tuesday December 8, 1998. She was born in Dresden, TN to Walter and Dollie Smith on October 4th 1911. She had an older brother name Burnice and a younger sister named Ardell (aka Miss Kitty). While she suffered many trials and tribulations during her 87 years here on Earth, she was also blessed with 5 children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren:

Charles Edward Lasater and his daughter Georgia Ann
Donald D. Lasater
Alice Marie Taviner and her four children Jerry, Michael, Jerice, and Rene.
Charles (Sonny) Nichols Jr and his three daughters Kimberly, Cindy, and Cheri
Fern Dollie DeFelice and her three children Samantha, Roxanne, and James Griffin.

She was the co-owner of Sisters Two Coffee Shop with her sister Ardell and later Charlie and Maceys Coffee Shops on Main Street in Seal Beach CA, but nothing was more important to her than her family. Even though her own mother passed away when she was barely over a year old, her mothers Christian love was with her throughout her life. Whether it was helping take care of her little sister, being the primary care giver to her father during his final months in MO, or helping raise her grandchildren in CA, no task was too big or too small.

She adored us all and did it all with love. Words cannot express how much she is already missed, or how blessed we were to have had her in our lives. Rest in peace Macle, until we meet again just beyond the moon.
