BURNS - Mary Jane Fosnow, better known as Molly, daughter of William and Elizabeth Fosnow, was born in Indiana June 25, 1865, and passed away at the Richland Hospital Nov. 4, 1945, at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 10 days. She was united in marriage to Henry Monroe Burns Sept. 18, 1887. To this union were born eight children, six sons and two daughters: Grover, and Art of Richland Center, Scott and Mrs. Delbert Harris of Soldiers Grove, Mrs. Dora Waller of Blue River, and Clarence of Boscabel. survive their mother. Her husband preceded her in death February 7, 1917, and two sons, Elias, Nov. 16, 1930, and Lavern, Aug. 5, 1944. She also leaves 23 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Wess Kauffman of Abbotsford and Mrs. Delbert Eaton of Richland Center, and two brothers, Peter Fosnow of Withee and John of Muscada. She was baptized and united with the Pleasant Ridge Christian church in early life. She had been in failing health for over two years but bore her suffering with great patience. She was a lovely mother and always wanted to be with her children and home. She will be greatly missed by them all and a host of friends and relatives.
