Patricia A. Ray,73,of Carthage,died Tuesday,April 10 at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born December 18,1927,in Shirley,a daughter of the late Glen and Letha (Hedrick) Jordan.
She was a homemaker and formerly attended the Calvary Baptist Church of New Castle. Survivors include her husband of 52 years,Eldon Ray;six daughters,Penny Jones of Carthage,Francie Jasper of New Castle,Nancy (husband:Bill)Vickery of New Castle, Sherry (husband:Roger)Jones of Shirley, Letha Ray of Carthage,Vanessa(husband:Ronnie) Peavie of New Castle;one son,Kenneth "Bud"(wife: Mary)Ray of New Castle;a sister Sue Ray of Carthage;five brothers,Billy Jordan of Shirley, Glen Jordan of Wilkinson,Robert Jordan of Shirley,Jimmy Jordan of Knightstown and Charlie Jordan of Arizona;12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
A sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
Services were held Friday,April 13 at the Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Rev. Bobby Slagle officiating. Burial was in the Carthage Town Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday,April 12 at the funeral home.
