Funeral services for L. A Henderson, long- time resident of Simpson County, were held at 4 p.m. February 20 from Mims Mitchell Chapel with Rev. Hallmark and Rev. Walter Girley officiating. Interment followed in Sharon cemetery with Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in charge.
The retired farmer was 83 years, 8 months and 12 days old at the time of his death. He, passed away following a lengthy illness.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Velma Keys of Magee; one grandson, Charles Keys of Washington, D. C. four great grand children and one brother, Jessie Henderson of Laurel,
