Marion C. Baiotto, 67, of 211 N. New, died at ten o'clock Sunday night in a Kirksville hospital where he had been a patient since Jan. 10.
The son of Paul and Catherine (Crosetto) Baiotto, he was born Oct. 3, 1901, in Castlegate, Utah. On Nov. 7, 1921, in Kirksville, he married Rose Cima and to this marriage three children were born.
Surviving are his wife; one son, William M. Baiotto of 43 Grim Drive; two daughters, Hilvina Baiotto of Waterloo, Ia., and Mrs. Cecil (Rose) Roley of 307 S. First; two brothers, Joe Baiotto of North Kansas City and Raymond Baiotto of Glendora, Calif.; one aunt, Minnie Rovetto of Kirksville, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Mr. Baiotto was a long-time resident of Kirksville. He had been in the coal mining business until 1960, and since that time he and his son have owned and operated the Baiotto Concrete Products, Inc.
Mr. Baiotto was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church of Novinger. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge and Kirksville Country Club and was prominent in local and state bowling for several years.
The body is at the Funeral Home of Davis & Davis where rosary will be said Tuesday evening at seven o'clock.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 in Mary Immaculate Church in Kirksville with the Rev. John Buchanan, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in the Novinger cemetery.
Bearers will be Robert Jackson, John M. Jackson, Harvey Farr, Harvey Rogers, Charles Gasperi and Paul McCartney.
Honorary bearers will be Gordon Hill, Charles Moyer, Fred Kob, Augustine Snell, John Broseghini, Harry Mansfield, Ed Allen and John P. Meyer.
