88, of Dayton, died Saturday
morning at the Robison Nursing
Home, Dayton.
The funeral will be at 10:30
a.m. Tuesday at the Hubbard-
Rogg Funeral Chapel, with the
Rev. Robert Shields officiating.
Burial will be in the
family plot at the Dayton City
Cemetery.
A life-long Dayton area
resident, he was born Jan. 16,
1888 in Columbia County and
farmed at his parents'
homestead on Jasper Mountain.
He attended Mt. Pleasant
School and was a member of
the Congregational Church
and the Modern Woodmen.
Rayburn married Anna
Rayburn, June 10, 1917 in
Dayton. She preceded him in
death July 22, 1975. He was
also preceded in death by a
son, Lawrence Rayburn.
Survivors include his
daughter Ruth E. Hatfield of
Yakima, Jay Rayburn of
Dayton, eight grandchildren;
24 great grandchildren; and
three great-great grandchildren.
