Mildryd A. Brege, 80, formerly of Belknap Township, died Wednesday, January 12, at the Emmet County Care Facility in Harbor Springs following an extended illness.
She was born August 29, 1913, to Theodore and Mathilda (Faber) Nagel in Belknap Township. She married Ervin Brege in 1934. They owned a farm in Belknap for many years prior to retirement.
Mrs. Brege was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rogers City.
Surviving are:
...her children,
......a daughter, Ardel (Mrs. James) Nicholos of Norcross, Georgia;
......a son, Willard Brege of Rogers City;
...five grandchildren;
...three great-grandchildren; and
...several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ervin in 1989.
Funeral arrangements were handled by the Bill Brietzke Funeral Home in Rogers City where a prayer service was conducted Thursday, January 13. Funeral services were Friday, January 14, at St. John Lutheran Church with the Rev. Thomas Smuda officiating.
Interment was in Memorial Park Cementer in Rogers City.
