Elder half-sister of film comedian Oliver Hardy. She was the supervisor of boys dept. at the Los Angeles Orphans' Home in L.A. up until her death and also contributed her time to voluntary charity work. It is claimed that because of Hardy's disapproval with the manner in which Forest Lawn handled the memorial arrangements for his step-sister, he refused to be interred at FL upon his own passing.
