FREWSBURG--Lillian I. Niles, 83, Big Bone Run, died early Sunday, June 20, 1982, at WCA Hospital, Jamestown, after a sudden illness. She was born Oct. 9, 1898 in the town of South Valley, the daughter of Ward and Lucy Arnold Abbey. Mrs. Niles lived in the South Valley area most of her life. She married Claude E. Niles, who died Jan. 1, 1966. She is survived by two sons, Elton Niles, Frewsburg; and Donald Niles, Kennedy; one daughter, Mrs. Leon (Doris) Gleockler, Ellicottville; three brothers: Stanley Abbey, Kennedy; and Clayton and Eldred Abbey, both of Frewsburg; three sisters, Mabel Larson, Frewsburg; Adie Jones, Dunkirk; and Gertrude Marsh, Jamestown; seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
