Theo Titus (Joe) Reeves, 93, was the son of the late Lloyd and Ibera McKinney Reeves. On May 1, 1938, in Monticello, he married Katherine Tidwell Reeves, who survives. He retired in 1970 after 27 years with Ryder Trucking Lines and began a lawn care service, which he continued until 2000. He served during World War II in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Dawson Street Baptist Church.

Other survivors include a son, Ronald Reeves and wife Lyn; daughter, Betty Jo Bullard-Waters and husband Michael; grandson, Tytus J. Bullard; granddaughter, Jodie Reeves Recoy; great-granddaughters, Calli Nicole Bullard and Savanna Jo Recoy; sister, Linda R. Jones; and brother, Bob Vance Reeves.

A sister, Edith R. Jones; and brothers, Lindsay, Kenneth and Lewis Reeves, preceded him in death.
