Services for CPO John M. Gillaspy, 35, of Meridian, who died Thursday at an Oakland, Calif. hospital, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Robison Chapel of the Chimes.
Officiating will be Rev. Charles W. Easley. Interment will be at Meridian Cemetery.
He was born at East Farms, Wash., on March 1, 1937. He served the U.S. Navy for the past 17 years and was stationed at the Naval Station at Keyport, Wash., at the time of his death. He married Carol Kirby Sept. 27, 1965, at Winnemucca, Nev.
Survivors include his wife, of Keyport; his mother, Mrs. Phyllis Gillaspy of Meridian and two brothers, Eugene and Calvin both of Meridian.
