Leonard J. Valeo Jr., 48, of Westminster, formerly of Bowie, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000.
Born June 1, 1951, in Flushing, N.Y., he was the son of Rita C. Valeo of Crofton. He was the husband of Irene M. Valeo.
He was a retired police officer from Prince George's County. He was a licensed pilot, stationed out of Carroll County Airport.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children Kelly L. Valeo and Jason A. Valeo; and siblings Patricia Merkel and Anthony M. Valeo.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 N.W. Crain Highway, Bowie.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
