James Francis Riley was born on October 4, 1928. He was the son of Cornelius and Agnes (Cleary) Riley in Boston, Massachusetts.
Jimmy had 7 brothers, John,Connie,Bob,Billy,Paul,Richard and Thomas. When his mom passed away in 1947 the brothers all went their own ways.
In 1946 Jimmy joined the Army. He was Honorably Discharged in 1949 from the Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi. At the time of his discharge he was a SSGT and worked with the Military Police.
For many years, Jimmy worked at the VA hosptial in Jamaca Plain, Massachusett. There he was a supervisor in the kitchen. He loved his job and many people there loved him and enjoyed working with him.
Jim was found deceased in his car in July of 1975. It is believed that diabetes was the cause of death.
He left behind, his wife Patricia(Colley) Riley, two daughters, Patricia and Dorothy, and many many other people who loved him very much.
