Frankston - Services for Clyde Ellis, 89, Frankston, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Frankston, with the Revs. Bob Waldman, J. A. Griffin and Cynthia Hinson officiating. Burial will be in Frankston City Cemetery under direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Frankston.

Mr. Ellis died Dec. 15 in a Frankston nursing home.

He was born Apr. 24, 1907 in Anderson County. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and retired owner of Ellis Mercantile in Frankston, as well as a retired carpenter.

Survivors include a son, Ralph Ellis of Frankston; a daughter, Elizabeth Dunklin of Conroe; a sister, Mary Helen Williams of Frankston and Vay Dell Cook of Center; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers include Mike Ellis, David Dunklin, Kevin Ellis, Keith Ellis, Joe Murphy and Darryl Green.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Austin, Sr., Larry Joe McDonald, Bill Yeager, Jimmy Lade, Harry E. Williams, N. R. Link and Jarrett Ellis.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
