Staunton, Va., Feb. 6---Dr. Mary Moomaw, for fifty years an osteopath in New York, died yesterday at a nursing home here after a long illness. Her age was 96.
Dr. Moomaw graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. She practiced until five years ago. She was a member of the Southern Women's Educational Alliance and the Southern and Virginia Societies of New York.
She leaves two brothers, Dr. William C. Moomaw of Bedford, and Benjamin F. Moomaw of Roanoke, and two sisters, Mrs. Herbert S. Wilson of Roanoke and Mrs. Randolph H. Thompson of Rye, N.Y.
