Born in Bibb County, Alabama to Sarah Suttle Caddell and John Caddell. Married Willis Houston Parker in Cherokee County, Texas in September, 1859. After Willis' death in 1911, she lived with her son, Joe and his wife Ada McConal Parker and their four children in the Shaw Bend Community until Joe sold the Colorado River acreage and bought another farm in the Live Oak Community of San Saba County in 1918. At that time she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to live with her daughter, Lorena Parker Carter and her husband, J.C. Carter. She died of a heart attack in 1920 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Joe had her body shipped via train back to San Saba County to be buried by her husband in the Shaw Bend Cemetery.
