From Wilmont MN Tribune April 12 1945

Relatives here have received word of the death of Mrs. John Schlichte at her home in Granville, Iowa on Sunday. Mrs. Joe Vortherms, her daughter, had been at her bedside since Wednesday, having received a message saying her mother had suffered a stroke. Joe Vortherms and family and Mr. and Mrs. Al Balster attended the funeral services which were held at Granville on Wednesday morning. 

  Mrs. John Albersman and Mrs. Clara Bruns went to Granville, Iowa Tuesday to attend the funeral services of their aunt, Mrs. John Schlichte, held there Wednesday morning.
