Mrs. Nettie (Wissing) Pease, 64, died unexpectedly at 10 p.m. Thursday, of a heart attack, at the country home of David E. Ross, southwest of the city, on the Wabash river, where she had been housekeeper the past two years. Born at Stockwell, she was married in Chicago, September 16, 1907, to Charles M. Pease, living in that city until seven years ago, when she returned to this city. For five years, she was housekeeper at the home of the late Mrs. C. B. Stuart and Mrs. T. A. Stuart, at Earlhurst, and then took a position in the home of Mr. Ross. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. James Russell Clarke, Rochester, N.Y. and a step-brother, Fred Wissing, Lafayette. Friends may call at the Hippensteel and Funkhouser funeral home, after 7 p.m. Friday. Funeral services Saturday at 2; burial, Yorktown cemetery.
