Graveside funeral services will be held in the West Side District Cemetery on Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. for longtime Taft resident, Bill Embrey, 74.

Mr. Embrey was born in Yale, Oklahoma on March 26, 1928 and passed away in the local hospital on November 15, 2002. Mr. Embrey moved to Taft in 1970. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for General Production Service for 21 years. Mr. Embrey served his country during World War II in the United States Army.

His wife, Laverne Embrey on November 4, 2002, preceded him in death. His survivors include his sister, his brother, his two sisters-in-laws and their husbands, and by his several nieces and nephews.

Those who wish to pay their respects may do so on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
