Obit - Florence Macel Moore.

In loving memory of Florence Macel Alberta Moore ( nee Ames), Florence was born in Eugene, Bandon Co. Oregon, USA on September 6, 1912. She passed away in Terrace, B.C. March 20, 1989.
At age ten she moved with her parents to B.C., she was united in marriage to Charles Moore on July 16, 1933. To this union was born three sons and two daughters; Clement Moore, wife Pat, of Prince Rupert, B.C.; Eugene Moore, wife Nena, California; Laurence Moore, wife Liz, Terrace, B.C.; and daughters Bonice Desautels, Coquitlam, B.C. Cheryl Stott, Maple Ridge, B.C.; Foster children were Rose Sampson, Kim Sampson, Patrick Sampson, Donna Sampson and Darlne Sampson. Charles and Florence resided in the Salmon Arm and Malakwa areas until May 1988 when they moved to Terrace.
A Memorial Service was held on March 24, 1989 at 11 a.m. from the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Terrace. Pastor O. Unruh officiated.
Honorary bearers were Clem Moore, Laurie Moore, Larry Stott, George Desautels, Brian Parks and Jim Moore. Florence is survived by her husband Charles, her three sons, and two daughters, and by two sisters, Evelyn Graham and Irene Hare, one brother, Ernest Ames a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
