Herbert L. Bender, 69, Rothsville, died at 3 a. m. Sunday, at the home of Mrs. Hazel K. Cvodar, Sadsburryville, Chester county, where he had been a guest.
He was born in Leola, a son of the late Kinzer and Lizzie Geist Bender and was a member of the Rothsville Lutheran Church.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ida V. Roberts, York county.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Brown Funeral Home, Christiana. Burial was in Heller's Salem Reformed cemetery.
