Obituary
Louis Henry Shattuck was born in Lake County
California, Feb. 19, 1869 and came to Washington
with his parencs in 1880, and died near Alfalfa
Wash., on Jan. 22, 1924. He leaves to morn his
loss a wife and two daughters, Mrs Thorington,
and Mrs. Clark, one son, Louis Shatock, two
sisters, Mrs Gertrude Beckner and Mrs. W. T.
Coleman and two brothers, Edward S. and
Hardy S. Shattock and also seven grandchildren.
Mr Shattuck was in good health up to the hour
of his death. He retired that night as usual and
about 11 o'clock ne called his brother to start a fire
for he was not feeling well. He got up and dressed
and went out to the fire and stood there a few
minuted, when he fell on the floor, his wife ran
to him, he looked up at her but did not speak and
passed away with out a struggle.
Funeral services were held at the Mabron M. E.
church, Sunday afternoon, and interment wash
in the Mabton cemetery.
