Betty June Thomas, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010.
She was born February 13, 1928, to the late Paul and Pressie (Duncan) Boring.
Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Richard C. Thomas; children, Vicky (Rev. Jerry) Fuqua, Steven (Mary) Thomas and Jeffrey (Deborah) Thomas; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Lora Elrod; brothers, Ed Boring, Pete Boring, and Richard Boring.
Betty June was preceded in death by sisters, Jean and Ruth Ann Boring; brothers, Donnie, Sunny, and Ronnie Boring.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2010, at the funeral home.
She will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.
