Medford Dee "Med" Poulsen, 67, died peacefully August 3, 1996.
NATIVE OF UTAH. Born November 1, 1928 to Henry Oliver Poulsen and Mary Elizabeth Brady in Richfield, Utah. Married Lila Mae Hansen April 26, 1952. She died September 25, 1991. Veteran of the Korean War. Retired Salt Lake County Assessor.
SURVIVORS. Survived by daughter, Kathy (Michael) Romero; grandchildren, Joshua, Eliza, Zachary, Sarah; son, Todd (Marilyn) and new little granddaughter, Morgan.
SERVICES. Memorial services will be Saturday, August 10, at 2 p.m. at Southeast Christian Church, 1881 East Vine St., SLC. Cremation under the direction of Evans & Early Mortuary.

May 1952 - Marriage. The marriage of Miss Lila Mae Hansen to Capl. Medford Dee Poulsen recently in Las Vegas was announced by the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd A. Hansen. Cpl. Poulsen, home on leave from Korea, where he served with the Field Artillery, is a son of Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Poulsen, 536 Leland Ave. The wedding ceremony took place in the "Hitching Post" Chapel in Las Vegas, April 26. The newlyweds honeymooned in Las Vegas and Zion Park. The bridegroom will report to Camp Carson, Colo., for reassignment. Following his release from military service, the couple will make their home in Salt Lake City.
