Mr. Barringer was born May 29, 1870 in Syracuse, N. Y. He came to Michigan as a boy and farmed in the St. Clair area most of his life. Mr. Barringer is a former employee of Diamond Crystal Salt Company.
Ann Fritz were married in 1897. Mrs. Fritz died in 1932.
Mr. Barringer is survived by two sons, Charles, St. Clair, and William. Port Huron; six daughters, Mrs. Norman Lamb, Mrs. Matie Taylor, Mrs. Mildren Easton, Mrs. Mabel Carnahan, Mrs. Victor Buggee and Mrs. Norman Walters, all of St. Clair; 15 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday in the Bower-Greenway funeral home, with Elder Ralph Fetting of the Latter Day Saints, church, St. Clair, officiating. Burial was in Hillside with grandsons as pallbearers.
