April 25, 1957 - Howe - Funeral service for Mrs. Lucy B. Ford, 75, who died at her home here Thursday at 9:20 p.m. following a heart attack will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Howe Baptist Church. Rev. Malcom Brown, pastor, will conduct. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, directed by Waldo Funeral Home of Sherman. Mrs. Ford was born in Grayson County, Sept 4, 1881. In 1905 she married William Calvin Ford. He died in 1935. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are three sons; John William Ford of Turlock, Calif., Clarence Ford of Modesto, Calif., and Charles Ford of Gainesville; four daughters, Mrs. H.A. Barbaree and Mrs. Vint Townsend, both of Modesto, Calif., Mrs. James Gabbard of Woodland, Calif., and Mrs. Ernest Lawson of Carnegie, Okla; three brothers, Ed Fielder of Gunter, Harvey Fielder of Denison, and Ben Fielder of Blue Ridge; a sister, Mrs. Ann Strawn of Abilene; and 21 grandchildren.
