Services will be held December 22, 1949, for Mrs. Rachel Ellen Evans Eller, 71, of Boissevain, Va. at the Church of God in Abbs Valley, Va., Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. C.H. Vance will conduct the services, assisted by the Rev. R.C. Bailey.
Rachel was born March 7, 1885 in Smyth County, Va. a daughter of Robert and Mary Ellen Fouse Evans.
She died Monday, December 19, 1949 in Boissevain, Va.
Mrs. Eller is survived by her husband, Charlie; and the following daughters and sons: Mrs. Isaac (Mae) Dunford of Marion, Va., Mrs. Edward (Lucille) Ollis, Amonate, Va., Mrs. Joe (Virginia) Haggard, Greensboro, N.C., Robert Eller, Bramwell and Charlie Neal, Amonate, Va.
She is also survived by one sister and three brothers: Mrs. Lucy Dunford of Marion, Frank Evans, Falls Mills, Va., John Evans, Marion and Edward Evans of North Carolina.
Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.
The body will be removed from the Pocahontas Union Funeral home this morning to the residence.
Pallbearers will be selected from close friends of the family.
