Mrs. John T. Jones
Mrs. John T. Jones, 73, of 1014 Willard St., died Tuesday at 11:30 p.m. at College Hospital where she had been a patient the past 11 days. She had been ill three years.
Mrs. Jones lived in Galesburg the past 30 years, and was born Oct. 14, 1884 in Goreville. She married to Mr. Jones in Goreville Nov. 14, 1928. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Paul of White Plains, N.Y., and Charles E. of Washington D.C.; three daughters, Mrs. Roberta Smith and Mrs. Willa Mae Wood, of Kankakee, and Mary Jones of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, R.E. Wiggins of Carbondale, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Hinchliff and Pearson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday at the funeral home.
