Susie Arloa Hockaday,51 of Tower Hill died at the home of her daughter, Mrs.Pauline L. Frazier Tuesday. She had been ill of complications for some time. She was a member of the Christian church in Decatur.
She was born Dec.2,1888 in Shelby county and was married to Roy Hockaday about 10 years ago following the death of her first husband. Besides her husband and daughter she leaves a son,Charles Brummitt,Decatur and two brothers,Ivory Banning,Pana and Melvin Banning,Decatur . There are three grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Stumpf funeral home in Tower Hill. Services will be held there Thursday with burial in Fairlawn cemetery in Decatur.
