Dr. J. F. Abel
Columbus Junction - Dr. J. F. Abel, about 75, Columbus Junction veterinarian was found dead in his hotel room at Muscatine, Feb. 6.
Dr. Abel, who lived alone at his home on West Hill, had been staying at Muscatine temporarily.
He was born near Yarmouth and settled in Columbus Junction several years ago. His wife, the former Nellie Davis, died about a year ago.
Survivors are a son, Floyd Abel, a patient in the Veterans hospital at Knoxville; a brother, Louis Abel, Fort Madison, and a sister in California.
The body is at the Stephens funeral home.
