Donald was born Nov. 9, 1915, in Mechanicsville, Iowa, son of Leo M and Lavena L (Walker) Andre. He married Margaret Oddy Jan. 11, 1940. She died Oct. 11, 1992. He married Sharon Bartosh March 28, 1993. Donald retired in 1980, having worked 13 years at J.I. Case Co. and later 19 years in building and grounds department of Palmer College. He is a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.
