She was born on Feb. 21, 1949, the only child of Chester M. And Dolores L. Peay Call.
As a child she live in Pocatello, Idaho, and San Jose, Calif. She attended St. Joseph Elementary, graduated from Pocatello High School and attended Idaho State University for two years.
Cheryl married Harvey M. Day on May 25, 1970, and on May 25, 1983, turned earthly love into eternal love in the Washington D.C. LDS Temple.
Cheryl and Harvey traveled to Hawaii, Connecticut, Virginia and Washington state and raised two wonderful children as Harvey served in the U.S. Navy. They settled in Logan, Utah, to raise their second love, horses. Cheryl enjoyed scrapbooking, toll painting and genealogy work, but most of all, loved spending time with her children, their spouses and 10 treasured grandchildren.
She willingly served as Relief Society president, Young Women's president and many other callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Cheryl gained a new perspective as she battled her "Goliaths." The doctors remarked that it was beyond their "human" reasoning as to why she continued to walk & talk. We know that there were miracles shared for our family during the last six years of her life.
She is survived by her caring husband, Harvey M. Day; their two children, Brandy Nicole Millward (John) of Morgan, Utah, and Carey Michael Day (Natalie) of Meridian, Idaho; as well as her crowning accomplishment her 10 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her son, Joseph Merle Day.
