God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you
And whispered, "Come to Me".
With tearful eyes we watched as
You slipped away, And though
We love you dearly we could not
Make you stay, A Golden heart
Stopped beating, Hard working
Hands were put to rest, God broke
Our hearts to prove, He only takes
The best.
Kristy Jeanette Scoggins, 31, departed this world and entered into God's presence on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, in Tulsa, OK. She was born February 11, 1979, to Lonnie and Becky Walls of Sand Springs, OK. She is survived by parents Lonnie and Becky Walls of Sand Springs, husband Brian Scoggins, son of Ralph and Maureen Scoggins of Sand Springs, OK; three children, Brilee, Kinsey, and Brodie of the home; grandmother (granny) Jackie Inglett of Sand Springs; three siblings, Lonnie Walls of Florida, Shannon Walls of Tennessee, Jodi Walls of Sand Springs, OK, and many other family members. She was known for her sweet spirit and beautiful smile to which she shared with everyone she met. She brought so much joy and encouragement to all of those around her. She was a wonderful wife and devoted mother who gave of herself so freely. She has left such a legacy for her children to walk in her footsteps that we are certain, they too will be a blessing to many lives. Throughout the past two to three months, Brian was such a tower of strength for her. Through the many tests, trips to Saint John's Hospital and Mayo Clinic, he was always by her side encouraging her while taking care of the children. Kristy loved him so very much and was so grateful for the life they shared. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family receiving friends Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Olivet Baptist Church, 155 North 65th West Avenue Tulsa, OK.
