Mamie Brewer was the daughter of Robert L. Brewer b. 1867 and his wife Lela Ellen Dickeson b. 1877 both buried in Pirtle Baptist Cemetery. Mamie was a twin, but her twin brother died. Mamie married in 1912 William Arthur Warren who went by 'Aut' . He was a son of Uriah George 'Duncan' Warren and Catherine 'Kit' (Thompson) Warren. Mamie and 'Aut' had 9 children (one died as a toddler): Lela 'Kate' Kathryne Warren 1914, Georgia Lee Warren 1916, Homer Roy Warren 1919, Joseph Conrad Warren 1923, Nellie Florence Warren 1925, Mamie Marie Warren 1928, Robert Jewell Warren 1930 and Arthur Floyd Warren 1931.

Burial will be in Pirtle Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6p.m. to 7p.m today at the funeral home. Mrs. Warren died at 10 p.m. Monday in Henderson Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born July 15, 1896 in Rusk County and lived in Henderson for 15 years. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She is survived by one son Floyd Warren of Henderson; two daughters Mrs. Kate Alexander of New London and Mrs. Marie Hall of Henderson; one sister, Mrs. Mary Sims of Houston; 13 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Scooter Phillips, Robert Hall, Johnny Hall, Ted Littlefield, Todd Littlefield and Paul Fountain.
