Findley McDowell Torrence born August 31, 1887; married Patricia Broadstone, of Xenia, June 22, 1914. In April, 1933, he wrote: "We know definitely that our family came from, Pennsylvania. I have the mantel in our living room which was brought over the mountains to Ohio in a wagon, when the family came into the then Ohio Wilderness, to take up a Revolutionary Soldier's land grant."
