George Martin Dies
George Martin was born at the town of Scribba, New York State, July 20th, 1835, and passed away January 7th, 1917, at the age of 81 years, 5 months and 18 days.
When 21 years of age he was united in marriage to Martha E. Meeks, who passed away September 11th, 1912. Four children were born to this union, three of whom died in early childhood.
The deceased is survived by one son, Chester, and two granddaughters, Mrs. Frank Hones and Mrs. Elmer Grice, and one sister and one brother.
The funeral services were conducted at the farm home Tuesday morning by Rev. Fuller. Interment took place at the Watervliet cemetery.
