MEDFORD Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Bohte, 85, Medford, who died Thursday at Memorial Nursing Home, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph Miller will officiate and burial will be made in St. Ann's Catholic cemetery in the town of Greenwood. The former Anna Plautz was born at Zagreb, Yugoslavia on Aug. 15, 1880, and came to the United States when she was 16, settling at Calumet, Mich. In 1912 she came to Taylor County with her husband where they lived on a farm in the town of Greenwood. In 1959 she made her home with her son-in-law and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wiegel and during the past year she had resided at the nursing home. She was married to Joseph Bohte at Calumet on May 27, 1898. He died in August, 1964 Surviving her are eight daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Ann) Serio, Milwaukee; Mrs. Zigmund (Mary) Javens, Milwaukee Mrs. Catherine Lewin, Milwaukee; Mrs. Joseph Zainer, Milwaukee; Mrs. Richard (Agnes) Tymnick, Waukesha; Mrs. Peter (Angeline) Schemberger, Milwaukee; Mrs. Ben (Frances) Seidel, Westboro; Mrs. Fred (Dorothy) Wiegel, Medford; four sons, Joseph Bohte, Monterey Park, Calif.; Frank Bohte, Dorchester; John Bohte, El Monte, Calif.; Edward Bohte, Rib Lake; 28 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. A daughter preceded her In death. Friends may call at the Ruesch Funeral Home until the time of services. The parish rosary devotions will be held there tonight (Friday) at 7:30 o'clock and the Knights of Columbus at 8 o'clock.
