Mrs. Annie Thyer Abell, 86, of 325 Baker, died at 1:50 pm Thursday at St. John's Hospital. She had been a patient for eight weeks.
Mrs. Abell was born March 30, 1871, in Ohio. She was resident of Tescott for many years before moving to Salina in February, 1956.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary at Tescott and the Tescott Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Ramon, Barnard, and Franklin, Salt Lake City, Utah; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Hamm, Denver, Colo; Mrs. Carl Nelson, Salina RFD 2, and Mrs. Fred Webb, 325 Baker, and 20 grandchidren.
The funeral will be at 2:30 pm Sunday at the Tescott Methodist Church, the Rev. Major Parker officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. The American Legion Auxiliary will hold a ritual service at the graveside.
