Agnes Cecilia Langer was born May 2, 1906 at Norden, Nebraska and passed away September 25, 1949 in Denver, Colorado at the age of 43 years, 4 months and 23 days. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy at O'Neill, Nebraska, and did post-graduate work at the University of Nebraska. She taught school successfully in Keya Paha and Cherry counties, two of those years in the Nenzel School. Miss Langer was active in church and community affairs. She had many staunch friends in this community and wherever she was known.

Relatives left to mourn her passing are three sisters, Mrs. Rose Simons, Valentine; Mrs. Martha Sharp, Sparks; Mrs. Marie Kuhre, Norden; three brothers, Joe, Denver, Colorado; Charles and Ted, Norden.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 28th at St. Agnes Church in Norden by the Rt. Rev. Monsignor Leo M. Blaere, Valentine. Pallbearers were Edmund Fischer, Arthur Bingham, Nilo Kuhre, Ralph Simons, Clem Foster and Frank Zirnig. Miss Delores Fredrickson, Valentine, Sang and Mrs. Andy Koralewski, Valentine accompanied her on the organ.
