NORTH COHOCTON

Arthur R. Wetmore, a well known resident of this vicinity for many years, died at his home near Prattsburgh, last week Wednesday. Mr. Wetmore had been failing in health for some time. The cause of death was a shock, but he has been ailing from kidney and heart trouble for some time. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson A. Wetmore, well known residents of this village for many years prior to their death. He at one time was engaged in mercantile business here under the firm name of Wetmore Bros. He was 53 years old. He was married to Miss Sarah Ardell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Ardell, of Atlanta, and to this union were born three children, Carl, Mabel and Gordon, all of whom, together with their mother, survive the deceased. The funeral was held from the home Friday last and the remains were brought here for interment in the Clearview Cemetery.
